Hello,
Personally, I think that the first 2 stamps are actual se-tenents than the stamps on Aero India, which are more "sets" than se-tenents.

Nice to see your comment. But according to details available in books on Philatelic terms 'Se-tenant' is used to describe adjoining stamps which differ from each other in value, design, or in some other respect such as one overprinted or surcharged and the other not.So I think all of them are se-tenants.Other readers may give comments too.Pl. also refer to my Post of 14 July on Se-tenants.

Stamps joined together with part or full perforations are Se-tenants!! Please enjoy the Hobby with more depth !!!

Hi,
Mansoor here again, it's good to see more comments as healthy comments lead to knowledge.

What I meant to convey through my first comment is that not about the defination of Se-tenant, but if you sepearte the stamps (in case of first and second stamps) and try to join it by changing sides the picture is not complete but in case of Aero India it does not make any difference, hence i regard those as classic or true se-tenants.

Well I agree somewhat with Mr.mansoor, you can see the same with regards to the stamps of Parijat tree and medicinal plants stamps.

Thanks for all your nice comments. All of you are right in your own way. The idea to give these sets here, just to explain various kinds of possible se-tenants.The set of stamps joined together, forming a composite picture, are not ony setenants but it is the most specific type of se-tenant. The other stamps joined together, diferernt with each other in any respect are also kind of se-tenant. Here I want to clarify that the different stamps(in Design or denomination) present in in M/s & Sheetlet are also kind of se-tenants.I hope my explanation will give a clear idea to the Readers about se-tenants.However more views are invited by the readers on this topic !
