Hi ! In the Club News, first of all I am happy to announce that the building given on the stamp of J.P. Naik has been recognized by our distinguished member Mr. Vijay Seth. It is the ruins of Nalanda University, located in Bihar and it is one of the oldest universties in the world. Thank you so much Mr. Seth. But full name of Mr. J.P. Naik could not be traced. I will be thankful if anyone can find out the answer. I introduce here a new Member from Chennai. We are all aware of devastating flood situation in Bihar. A humble appeal from distinguished philatelist Mr. Pradip Jain to help the victims of this flood. A FDC from Mr. Jain released by UK on Handover Ceremony of Olympic flag from Beijing to London during Beijing 2008.In our regular series of se-tenants some ancient temples of India from the album of Mr. Shrikant Parikh. Dear Friend

You must be aware through the electronic / Press media about the devasting flood situation in Bihar is witnessing its worst flood in living memory. Many districts are under water, made the most critical condition, nearly Thirty Laces (3 Million) people are homeless. These people have lost not just their homes, but virtually everything, including their income. Helping the flood-hit pickup their shattered lives requires enormous relief work. To reach out the needy people many NGO's from all over has come forward to extend their help and started the relief operation in war - foot level.
I am in touch with the local family friend of the nearby flood effected town name Purnia and Saharsa, to send our help to them who will arrange for safe distribution of the items to the needy people in various camp.
With this thought of spirit I am sending this appeal to our friends/ well wisher all over the globe who desire to participate in this noble cause by way of sending their help/ contribution may kindly be sent to me at the earliest so that we can do the needful to send your contribution to the needy people at the earliest.
Pitch in with whatever you can because you can make a difference.

Indian Stamps Yearbook 2007



The Indian Stamps Yearbook “ Collection of India Stamps 2007” has been published by Mr. Vijay Seth, to mount all the stamps issued in 2007. This book contains colour images of all the stamps, Miniature sheets, FDC, Postmarks, Technical data, Max cards and Folders, background information and colour images related to the stamps of 2007. All stamps and miniature sheets have been printed in 90% original size, so that the collector can mount the mint stamps and miniature sheets with hawid mounts on the printed stamps itself. The book also serves as an Album of Stamps of 2007. The price of the book is Rs750.00 post free in India.This book shall also be available at a few selected Philatelic Bureaus in India.
